EDIT: Content taken down. Fact--people communicate really differently here but sometimes, rudeness is just plain rudeness and shouting down someone below you in the hierarchy is just that. Be prepared to deal with it on a regular basis if you're going to relocate here. Hopefully, you can deal with it much better than I have [or can for that matter].
EDIT: I deleted the rest of this entry as it was written in anger, and this morning, I don't feel very nice having written it. Must seek inner peace like Po in Kung Fu Panda II.
